White Bean Soup

White Bean Soup

4 cans white kidney beans (undrained)

1/2 white onion (diced)

8 oz. package pre-cooked, diced ham

salt and pepper (to taste)

Combine the ingredients in a slow cooker or pot.  Cover with water (more or less depending how thick you like your soup).  Simmer until heated thoroughly.

Levi words

Well, not technically words, but something cute he does.  Levi has started giving us kisses when we say "Can I have a kiss?" He'll bring his little lips to our face, then get a huge smile and be all proud of himself. Then we kiss him and he laughs and smiles. So incredibly precious.

Moose words

We pray with the boys every night when they get in bed. Now Moose asks to pray, too. He says a little prayer that goes "Dear Jesus, thank you for mommy and daddy and lie lie and moosey. Keep them safe and warm all throughout the night." Then he kisses me and says "I love you." I can hardly handle the sweetness of it!

Guzzling water

We went on a two hour walk tonight. The boys rode in the jogging stroller, but were busy playing, laughing, and teasing each other the whole time. When we got back they took a bath, and were really thirsty!

Fun at Radiant Park

We visited a new park today. It has a zip line!  Branden and I had fun with that. Moose liked the bridge and Levi was excited about the sand.
