Snowy Levi
We went to the grocery store a couple days ago and when we came out it was snowing really hard. We all got covered in snow!

Moose Words
Today we went to MOPS at a local church. Moose and Levi each went to their own classes while I was in the main session. On the way home I asked Moose what he learned. He replied "God made dirt. And sun. And raining. And snowing. And running. And swimming. And the Bible Book." He paused in between each to think of what else he had learned! I then asked him if he had a snack at church and he said "Yes. Graham crackers and turkeys and....a drink." He then told me that he had fun, and that Li Li did, too! He was very talkative about his class!

Easy, Delicious Bruschetta
3 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil (preferably high quality, I used Bari)
6 Roma tomatoes, diced
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
crusty Italian type bread, cut into slices
garlic olive oil (again, quality is important, I used Bari)
fresh basil, torn into bite size pieces
Mix the balsamic vinegar and olive oil in a medium sized bowl (not a metal bowl). Stir in the Roma tomatoes, garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside to let the flavors blend together. Meanwhile, brush garlic olive oil on the sliced Italian bread. Broil on high until browned and slightly crisp. Spoon the tomato mixture on top of the bread, and top with the fresh basil. Enjoy!

Huge snowstorm!
We are on our third day of heavy snow! I can't believe this is in mid-April. It's exciting, though! I keep going out and shoveling the walkway, but in no time it's completely covered again. I'm giving up until tomorrow. I think we'll just stay inside!

Moose Words
Papa was sitting on the couch while he was here visiting today, and he laid back and closed his eyes. Moose asked him in a very concerned manner "Papa, are you tired?" Papa said he was and Moose said very seriously "Take a drink of your coffee." (Papa was holding hot tea.) It made Papa all better!

Levi's (very late) birth announcement
Apparently I never made a birth announcement for Levi. I thought I did and would have sworn I mailed them out. But no one got one, so I have to admit that I guess it never happened. To rectify that, I recently made one for him. It turned out really cute!
