Crazy baby hair

I love this stick up hair style!

Sleeping with mommy

Last night Moose had a hard night and was up crying and calling for mommy in the middle of the night. I couldn't get him calmed down so brought him to bed with me. He snuggled up and went right to sleep. I snapped a pic of him this morning when I got up to feed Levi. Ohhh the sweet, sleepy angel!

All at once, smile.

Or not! These attempts to get a decent picture of the boys in their costumes makes me laugh. In every picture one of them is crying or yelling. I love it! They are darn cute regardless. Sweet little bumble bees!

Moose went trick or treating

This evening we took Moose to the trick or treating event that the city puts on. It was so much fun getting to see him knock in the doors and say trick or treat in his little voice. He was the cutest little bumble bee!

Levi stayed out with Grandma and Grandpa so that he wouldn't get cold. He will get to go on Halloween during the day when it's warmer out. He is really cute in his costume, too!

Various pictures from today

Moose took his pajamas off sometime in the later morning. He looked pretty proud of himself! It had snowed last night so we spent a quiet day inside. It has been nice!

Snow

We got our first snow of the year tonight! It was raining suing the afternoon and turned to snow just get dark. Branden and I went on a short walk to look at all of the snow. I can't wait to see what it looks like tomorrow!

I picked all of my garden stuff this afternoon as I know it won't survive a day or two of snow. My poor mint plant is out shivering on the porch! I will update on the snow tomorrow!

Such a serious little guy

Levi was so serious looking today. He did smile plenty but in between had the most solemn looks. Such a cutie though!

Making pumpkin

This afternoon Moose wanted to "make pumpkin" toast style. It was cute watching how he tried to toast it then butter it!

Short sick day

Last night Moose threw up and wasn't feeling well this morning still. I got him all cleaned up and put him back to bed. He slept for 4 hours and as you can see below woke up feeling much better!

Beautiful fall leaves

There are gorgeous trees in our neighborhood park! I love the red leaves!

Roasted Butternut Squash

1 Butternut squash, cut in half and seeded
2 tablespoons butter
garlic seasoning
salt
pepper
fresh parsley (optional)

Lay Butternut squash so the cut side is up.  Put 1 tablespoon of butter in hollow part of each side.  Sprinkle garlic seasoning, salt and pepper to taste over the entire top side of the squash.  Lay fresh parsley over squash.  Cook in oven at 400 degrees for 35 minutes or until fork tender.
