First bath all by myself with Mommy!

Tonight Branden had to work late, so I ended up giving Moose a bath by myself.  I was a little nervous, as prior to this I've had someone else helping me...often several someones!  I got everything laid out, filled his little tub with warm water, and "dove" in.  He was a happy little bather, so apparently I did something right.  Afterward I dried him off real good and massaged him with some lavender baby lotion.  He's been sleeping tightly ever since.  I have to say it went pretty well for this Mommy's first time giving a bath by herself!

Moose had his first full bath tonight, and he didn't cry at all!  He was very relaxed, and seemed to enjoy the bath.  Afterward he fell fast asleep without fussing at all.  Bath time might become part of the nightly routine!

First trip to Daniel's

Zachary (aka Moose) had his first trip to Daniel's tonight.  He slept through most of it, but was awake long enough to check out the chips, salsa, and the lights.  He met one of the waitresses, too!  I'm sure that Daniel's will become a familiar place to him since Branden and I love it so much!

Last night Zachary slept for the first time in his crib.  He had been having a little trouble sleeping in our room, so we tried him in his own room.  He slept really well in there.  Hopefully it will be the same tonight!

Meeting "wolves"

This evening we ate at my parents house, and Zachary got to meet Jazz and Picker (aka "wolves").  Jazz was fascinated with him, while Picker was a little too intense looking for my comfort.  Dad and Branden helped with the meeting, while I held Zachary.  Little Zach was unimpressed, and just wanted to sleep, despite being sniffed by huge noses!

Lunch and walking

Today we went to lunch with my grandparents and my cousin.  It was Zach's first trip to JJ Duke's in Reedley.  He got to meet my friends Rosalinda and Miriam, who happened to be eating in there, too.  He also got to meet Mandy, who works there.  Afterwards we took him for a walk in his stroller down Rails to Trails and back on G Street.  It was a fun outing!

Birthday lunch

Today was both Branden and my birthday.  We celebrated it with Zachary at Chevy's.  Zach didn't even wake up when they sang happy birthday and shook those sound makers!  Afterward we took Zach to Target and he rode around in his stroller while we shopped.

Shopping trip

Today my Mom and I went shopping for Branden's birthday, and left Zach in the car with Dad.  About 10 minutes into our trip, Dad called saying Zach was screaming and didn't want his pacifier.  I told him he had to hold it in his mouth for a bit, to let him get a grip.  He also discovered he had it upside down!  We hung up and he said he'd call back if there was any more trouble.  We were in the store over an hour and didn't hear from him, so we figured things were going well.  When we came out, we discovered Dad in the back seat of my car, holding Zach on his lap.  He has bouncing him on his legs to keep him happy, and Zach had peed on him!  Mom and I could not stop laughing at the sight of my Dad scrunched up in the back seat bouncing Zachy on his legs!  This is exactly what we saw when we opened the door!

Early Birthday get together!

Tonight we had dinner at my Aunt Sherry and Uncle Randy's house.  My parents, grandparents, Brandon and Davey were all there, too!  We had a fun time celebrating 3 birthdays...my uncle's, mine, and Branden's.  Below are a couple of pictures from our evening
