Easter Basket video

The Easter Bunny came and hid Moose's Easter Basket somewhere in his Gramma and Grampa's front yard.  He looked in several of the trees, in the bushes, the flowers, and then found it by a plant.  He had a little help from his Daddy, too!

Moose's First Easter

For Moose's first Easter we got together with family over at my Aunt and Uncle's house.  We had a delicious lunch and then got our Easter baskets.  Moose took a nap for a while, too.  Afterward we went home and Moose looked for his Easter basket (video in the next post) and played with his Easter Eggs.  It was a fun day!

I put Moose down for his nap today, and he was all excited.  Laughing and squeaking in there.  I had laid him on his back, straight in the crib.  I checked on him after maybe 2 minutes, and I found the cocky little guy on his belly, sideways in the crib, laughing at me!  See for yourself!

Dancing feet

Moose was so wild today!  He was grabbing everything in sight, smiling at people, bucking against his carrier, and kicking like crazy.  I got a video of him "dancing" in the carrier this evening.  He has ants in his pants I think!

Rolled over at 5 1/2 months!

Moose rolled over for the first time 2 nights ago.  We put him to bed on his back, and in the morning he was laying on his tummy.  He looked pretty excited about that development.  He practiced some more on the floor yesterday, and almost has it mastered. I'll try to get a video as soon as he has it down pat!

Moose met the Easter Bunny!

Moose met the Easter Bunny today!  He was all smiles, and charmed the women doing the pictures.  He's such a little darling!

Fun in Fresno

Moose rode around in his stroller like a big boy.  He prefers to ride in the actual stroller, rather than in the baby carrier.  He was really cocky in his hat and sunglasses!

He got bored in one of the stores, so his Daddy got him out and held him.  He was smooching Moose on the cheek, and you can see how thrilling that was for Moose!  It is adorable how much he loves his Daddy!

With Mommy and Daddy

Moose dyed Easter Eggs again on Thursday.  He wore his new hat over to Gram's house.  He looked so cute!

Bouncy fun!

Lots of talking

Moose is really discovering his voice, and carries on full conversations with his animals.  This afternoon he was babbling away in his swinging chair, so I snuck up behind him to record his talking.  The angle of the video isn't very good because I had to keep the phone far enough back so he wouldn't see it.  As soon as he sees a phone or camera, he becomes fixated on it and stops talking.  Turn up the volume on this video though and you will get an earful of whatever it was he had to say!

Messy eater!

Moose had a big bowl of oatmeal with applesauce mixed in.  As you can see in the picture and video, he was more than a little bit messy while eating it!  He sure did enjoy it, though!

Cursed tummy time!

This afternoon Moose did some tummy time.  He's getting stronger and able to partially lift himself up and look all around.  However, his patience for tummy time is very limited.  This cute picture was taken just minutes before he had a yelling fit!

Snuggled up

Moose sat outside on his Mommy's lap watching his Daddy work on the 4Runner.  It was chilly out, so he was all wrapped up in a blanket, with just his little face peeking out!

Last night we crept in to Moose's room to look at him sleeping.  He was all curled up on his side, looking so cute we could hardly stand it!  We had to snap a quick picture, then get out before he woke up.  What a precious little angel he is!
