Christmas Day at Shaver Lake

We had a great Christmas Day!  We started the day with a wonderful homemade breakfast with my parents, Todd, and Beth.  Then we headed up to Shaver Lake with Boaz to play in the snow!  Moose got to touch snow for the first time and was a trooper when he got stripped naked for a diaper and wardrobe change on the tailgate of the pickup.  He's tough!  Merry Christmas to all!!

My Grandma Doris suggested letting him lay on his belly after he eats to help prevent hiccups or an upset tummy.  It worked great...he went right to sleep!  Thanks Gram!

Christmas with my family

Todd and Beth flew in from Colorado to spend Christmas with us and meet Moose.  We've been having a great time spending time with them.  We are going to miss them a lot when they go home!  Here are a few pictures I was able to get from our Christmas celebration yesterday.  I didn't get any of my parents unfortunately!

Moose went and visited with my Pop and Gram a couple of days ago.  He was thrilled with Pop, but wasn't so sure about Gram.  Gram was happy to see that he fussed the second time Pop held him, though! :)

Last night I took some pictures of  Moose and his Daddy spending some time playing and "talking" with each other.  Moose was in a very good mood.  He is starting to be so much more alert, and is interacting with us.  He's such a cutie!

Take a hike!

This afternoon it was really warm, so I decided to get Zach loaded up into his new Baby Bjorn carrier and walk over to Grandma and Grandpa's so he could see the "wolves."  He wore his little Dodger hat to keep the sun out of his eyes.  He was very content on the walk over there.  We walked part of the way down the road, and then cut through the field for the last part.  It was nice to get out of the house and go on a walk!

This evening Moose got to spend some time with Daddy reading a book.  He listened intently.  I think he enjoyed the sound effects the most!

Getting in the water!

Moose likes to "get in the water" (not to be confused with a bath, which is when he gets soaped up) nightly.  He is very happy in the bath and just relaxes.  I sponge warm water all over him, and he doesn't fuss a bit.  It's very cute!
