Eating out

Like his Mommy and Daddy, Moose seems to like eating out.  He likes it even better now that he can sit up at the table, play, and entertain everyone!

Moose's new jammies!

Moose got some new "big boy" pajamas from his Gramma today.  They are 18 month jammies, which surprisingly fit just fine.  He is one long baby, and is very adorable in his pajamas!

Moose can sit on his own now!

His sitting is a bit shaky, and if he gets distracted he'll fall over, but Moose can now sit straight on his own.  We've been working on it with him, but today was the first day he did it all by himself! Good job Moose!

Moose's first experience with crayons!

Moose was introduced to crayons today.  We got him the extra large ones so they would be easier to hold.  Mommy had to help him a little, but he did plenty of "coloring" on his own.  He even managed to color his socks a little!

Evening routine

Moose has a fairly regular evening routine.  He goes visiting, playing, walking, or some other type of activity.  Then he eats dinner, followed by a bath.  After that he has a bottle and a bedtime story.  Tonight after he finished his routine, he wasn't quite ready for bed, as you will see in the last pictures!  But once he got in his crib and started gnawing on his blankie, he was out like a light!  He is such a sweetie!

No more mobile

Moosey has been increasingly fascinated with trying to reach his mobile.  A few days ago he was sleeping in his crib at Gramma and Grampa's, and he managed to turn the mobile on himself.  Last night I put him in his crib while I hung his clothes up, and he was very excited about trying to reach the mobile.  I got some really cute pictures that show his fascination well!  I turned it on for him while I went out to get more clothes, and heard "click click click."  He had a hold of it and would not let go!  Needless to say, Moose no longer has a mobile in his crib.  Now he just has the music box portion of it.  It hasn't seemed to slow him down though.  This morning I checked on him using the baby monitor, and there he was....staring straight into it!!

First day of swimming lessons!

Moose's first day of swim lessons was so fun!   He did so good!  There's lots of singing, games, and swimming.  They make learning a lot of fun.  We can't wait to go back next week!
